dot.rural technology research is focused around natural language generation (NLG) and affective communication, mechanisms to support reasoning, coordination and collaboration, intelligent information infrastructures, satellite and wireless communications.
Research is influenced by a range of other activities at Aberdeen including the US-UK International Technology Alliance project led by IBM, the PolicyGrid ESRC Digital Social Research Node, the TRUMP UK-India consortium, and Internet standards activity funded by ESA and others.
