Doctoral students are an important part of the dot.rural research community, and the Hub provides a challenging interdisciplinary environment for researcher training and development.
Students in the current cohort of 22 students come from 11 countries across 4 continents, and have backgrounds in 9 different disciplines ranging from engineering to linguistics. Students are fully integrated into project teams (where applicable), and there are many informal mentoring relationships in place between postdoctoral fellows and students.
