dot.rural research was featured on BBC’s Out of Doors radio programme in relation to the issues surrounding rural broadband, as part of a feature on the Rural Scotland in Focus Report . Fiona Heesen (dot.rural PhD student) spoke about her work (around 6m 40) which, in conjunction with the wider dot.rural DEAR project, seeks to clarify the manner in which rural community resilience is impacted by the inclusion of high-speed broadband and associated digital services.
