Accessibility & Mobilities

Sustainable transport systems are a key driver of economic, social and environmental well-being but the provision of adequate transport services in rural areas remains problematic. Accessibility to rural areas, and the mobility of goods and passengers within, is a key challenge. Our work seeks to use digital technologies to improve transport services and information systems for rural areas.

Projects:

Informed Rural Passenger (IRP)
Flexible Integrated Transport Services (FITS)
Smart Micro-logistics for the Rural Economy (SMiLE)
