"Call of the Wild" presented by Gina Maffey of dot.rural will look at how our National Parks came to be and why they are more important than ever today. In particular the talk will focus on research that is currently being carried out within the Cairngorms National Park, and will take a tentative look at how technology is being implemented to protect and preserve these environments.

National Parks throughout the UK are working environments that aim to conserve not only landscapes and wildlife, but the culture and history of the area for generations to come.
