As part of the Centre for Health Science Public Open Day, UHI HI Links is delighted to be hosting a business seminar ‘Tomorrow’s Healthcare Today’, featuring exciting speakers from Heriot-Watt University, Glasgow School of Art, University of Aberdeen and Inverness College UHI.
The interactive seminar will look at how leading edge technologies have been developed and applied in novel and imaginative ways to enhance key services, generate business opportunities and promote the economic and social sustainability of remote and rural areas in particular. The seminar will feature the Digital Design Studio, Glasgow School of Art, Digital Economy Research Programme ‘dot.rural’ (University of Aberdeen). There will also be speakers from the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences, Heriot-Watt University and the local Inverness College UHI.
Alasdair Mort (Research Fellow from dot.rural) will be speaking at the seminar which is aimed at any business interested in new digital health care technologies. The seminar will last for an hour, and will be follpwed by a networking BBQ.
